Region 5

State Chair

Hello, my name is Kelly Sheehan and I am excited to be the Tennessee State Chair for Region 5. I have been a PATH International registered-level instructor since 2006 and, currently, substitute instruct as I can. When I'm not at the barn, I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients. In the past, I've worked in both Tennessee and Pennsylvania as a therapeutic riding instructor, and taught an undergraduate-level course on Equine-Assisted Activities. Initially, I became interested in PATH after donating my show horse at the time, Bandit, to a center in Missouri. When I left for college, I began volunteering at a PAC in Tennessee and the rest is history! I have an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Studies and a master's degree in Special Education, with a focus on behavior disorders. Currently, I show as an amateur with my gelding, Only In Dreams ("Floyd"). I am excited for the opportunity to serve centers in Tennessee and to coordinate activities and outreach that can benefit everyone.
