Home On The Range is a trauma-focused COA accredited 36-bed Qualified Residential Treatment program serving juveniles ages 12 to 19 for over 70 years. We are currently seeking a Master Level Social Worker (MSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to practice in the scenic Badlands and work with adolescent boys and girls. Opportunities include working with a diverse population in a flexible, creative setting. The facility is a working ranch of 1,400 acres. Programs include equine assisted therapy treatment, canine assisted therapy treatment, and adventure therapy treatment. Home On The Range has clinicians certified in a number of equine modalities including EAGALA, Natural Lifemanship, and HEAL. We have worked jointly with the N011h Dakota State University (NDSU) in doing outcome studies of our equine program. We currently operate EAGALA groups, individual and family sessions, rhythmic riding, team driving, horse packing and horsemanship groups as key components in our equine assisted therapy programing. We also have a drug and alcohol program ran by two LACs. We use Risking Connections (RC) and Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT).
