Denver—A big thank you goes out to PATH Intl. Silver Sponsor Luitpold Animal Health, the manufacturer of Adequan® i.m.! Luitpold Animal Health generously offered to donate Adequan® to PATH Intl. Member Centers.
A total of 178 PATH Intl. Member Centers participated in the donation program, helping 1,328 horses. Adequan® is an intramuscular treatment for non-infectious degenerative and/or traumatic joint dysfunction and associated lameness in the carpal and hock joints in horses. Adequan® is the only FDA approved polysulfated glycosaminoglycan.

About Adequan® i.m.
INDICATIONS
For the intramuscular treatment of non-infectious degenerative and/or traumatic joint dysfunction and associated lameness of the carpal and hock joints in horses.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
There are no known contraindications to the use of intramuscular Adequan® i.m. brand Polysulfated Glycosaminoglycan in horses. Studies have not been conducted to establish safety in breeding horses. WARNING: Do not use in horses intended for human consumption. Not for use in humans. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. CAUTION: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
Adequan® i.m. is the only FDA-approved Polysulfated Glycosaminoglycan.
