Sharing
Space With a Loose Horse
By Cathy
Languerand, PATH Intl. Equine Welfare Committee Chair
I have not been bitten by a horse for 20 years until a week ago, when a
slightly food-aggressive horse tried to grab hay out of my arms and got

paddock and someone enters that space, how does one stay safe? Read
more
The
PATH Intl. Equine Welfare Committee is making a commitment to refine and
deepen our perspective of equine well-being to include the physical,
mental and emotional well-being of our wonderful four-legged partners.
Join us on this journey. Please add your thoughts on the PATH Intl. Community
Connections page. It is our desire that these tips start a further
discussion on Community Connections. Any thoughts? We appreciate hearing
from you!

Information
Needed From Parents of Children Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
|
|
Kelsey Large, a
communication sciences and disorders senior at the College of Wooster in
Ohio, is completing her senior independent study thesis on parental
perceptions of the impact of equine-assisted activities and therapies on
children who are deaf or hard of hearing. In order to conduct this study
she has developed a survey for parents of children who are deaf or hard
of hearing and participate in horseback riding or any form of EAAT or
hippotherapy. Click here for information
about the survey and a recruitment
flyer for distribution to parents of children currently in your
program. Click
