Gerre
Halaus: A Legacy of Giving
|
|
PATH Intl.
recognizes and honors those who have chosen to support the programs and
services PATH Intl. offers through their wills, estate plans or
life-income agreements. One such estate gift was recently received by
PATH Intl. from the estate of lifelong animal lover Gerre Halaus. Her
family also sent us this lovely letter honoring her wonderful
life and we wanted to share it with you. PATH Intl. thanks the Halaus
family for their generosity and for letting us all figuratively know
Mrs. Halaus a little bit as we honor her memory through her legacy of
giving.

Life
Lessons From Horses
By Marcie
Ehrman, Member of the PATH Intl. Equine Welfare Committee
I'm grateful to have had some wonderful trainers, mentors and horses in
my life, and each one has taught me many valuable lessons. I think the
best way to honor those teachers is to try to live those lessons every
day, and to pass their teachings on to others along the way. Here are
some of the more memorable ones. Read more
The PATH Intl. Equine
Welfare Committee is making a commitment to refine and deepen our
perspective of equine well-being to include the physical, mental and
emotional well-being of our wonderful four-legged partners. Join us on
this journey. Please add your thoughts on PATH Intl. Community Connections page.
It is my desire that these tips start a further discussion on Community
Connections. Any thoughts? We appreciate hearing from you!
