Intl. Announces Two New Board Members
|
|
This year the PATH
Intl. Governance Committee implemented a new board recruitment and
application process for new board members. Highlights of the new
recruitment process included developing criteria to focus on,
recruiting from within the industry and PATH Intl. by focusing on
active committee members and posting requests in PATH Intl. eNews
plus recruiting outside of the industry through VolunteerMatch.com and
LinkedIn. We are pleased to announce that post a rigorous interview and
vetting process, we have added two members to the PATH Intl. Board of
Trustees by presidential appointment in accordance with our bylaws.
Mr. Dudley Hafner,
former CEO of The American Heart Association, and Mr. Richard Loomis,
Director of Operations at the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform
at Brookings, will both be joining us at conference in San Diego, and
we hope you will take a moment or two to welcome them to PATH. Click here for their
biographies.

Certified
Instructors: Have You Taken the Industry Orientation Pre-test Yet?
|
|
Please take the time
to help PATH Intl. build the new Industry Orientation and survey for
potential instructor candidates by completing the Industry Orientation
exams and survey for potential instructor candidates. Your feedback is
greatly needed. Many of your fellow certified instructors have already
completed the exam, but we would like a few more. The more certified
instructors we have participating at this testing stage will help in
ensuring a quality and useful tool for future PATH Intl. Certified Professionals.
If you haven't already, you will receive an email from CourseWebs with
the subject line: Registration for your PATH Intl. online course(s)
Industry Orientation. The email from CourseWebs will contain instructions
for taking the online course Industry Orientation.
You will receive
two CEUs for completing this survey. Additionally, to
thank you for your time, two names will be drawn from those who have
completed the test to receive $50 in PATHBucks. (PATHBucks are like
receiving a gift certificate that can be applied to your association
purchases, memberships or applications.)
Thank you in advance for your participation in our testing validation
effort. Through your input we can ensure the standards you work so
diligently to uphold in every future PATH Intl. certified instructor.
If you have any questions, please contact Stefani Viktora-Anderson, (800) 369-7433, ext. 104.
