Nominations Open for PATH Intl. Membership Oversight Committee Region Reps

PATH Intl. is seeking Membership Oversight Committee Region Representative nominations. The PATH Intl. annual nomination process for region representatives is underway. This year nominations are being accepted for odd-numbered regions: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. PATH Intl. Region Representatives serve as ambassadors for the association and as the voice of their region's members. Responsibilities may include recruiting, retaining and recognizing members; collaborating with groups within and outside of PATH Intl. that can positively impact the success of PATH Intl. members; leading PATH Intl. recognition of center and individual members and participants; and helping coordinate states, regions and PATH Intl. communities into effective networking systems.

Nominations are due to your current region representative no later than July 15. If you prefer, you may print the nomination form, fill it in by hand and mail it to the PATH Intl. office. All handwritten nomination forms must be received by the office by July 15 in order for the nomination to be considered.

Renovations Limit Adequan Supply

Due to renovations to the Luitpold Pharmaceuticals factory in Shirley, NY, supplies of Adequan i.m., the only polysulfated glycosaminoglycan (PSGAG) approved by the Food and  Drug Administration (FDA), are expected to be limited over the coming months. According to its press release, "Our factory in NY has undergone a significant renovation to meet enhanced quality standards and address observations of the FDA. This has resulted in the depletion of our existing inventories. We have carefully managed supply to allocate inventory optimally, but the product will be out of stock for a short period of time. We expect to resume shipments of the 5 mL in early July, followed by the 50 mL in August."

For the most recent updates on expected release dates of product, visit the Adequan websites at www.adequan.com or www.nogenericadequan.com or call customer service at (800) 458-0163.
