A Wonderful Conference  
For all who attended or participated in the 2010 NARHA National Conference and Annual Meeting, THANK YOU. We had a terrific turn-out, and everyone enjoyed the networking opportunities, the educational workshops and sessions, and the speakers.
 
We've received many comments about this year's conference. Here is just one, which summarizes what a lot of respondents had to say. This is from Joy Miller, program director at New Horizon Ranch and NARHA certified riding instructor:
 
Just wanted to say a SPECIAL THANK YOU to you and all the staff and volunteers who put so much in to planning and facilitating our conference. I am sure you don't hear enough how thankful we all are for your hours of endless work! As always conference was amazing!!  It is such a vital part of our industry moving to the next level!  I always look forward to the new, fresh and updated info presented and I love the opportunity to network with other professionals who not only love to do what I (we) do but love to do it well.

I look forward to next year in Kentucky, but hope to see some of you before then!
 
NARHA Center Renewal Due December 31st  
Thank you for your commitment to safety, ethical practices and professionalism in equine-assisted activities and therapies. To ensure that NARHA continues to provide your center with premium education and to maintain uninterrupted access to the wealth of benefits available to NARHA centers, please renew your center membership by December 31.
 
Online center renewal is now available. Online registration makes it especially easy to renew your registration before it expires. With the elimination of paper, you'll end any worry about losing your form on the desk or in the mail.

Click here to renew online. NOTE: The center's primary contact or executive director must be logged in to their personal account in order to renew online.
 
 Of course if you prefer to send in a hard copy renewal, that is still an option. Download and complete the center renewal booklet and renewal invoice from the NARHA website, and mail it in.

New this year, centers that prefer to pay by check may now complete the Center Renewal booklet online and mail a check for center membership dues.
American Royal to Honor NARHA Couple as 2010 Therapeutic Horsepersons of the Year
 		  
Joy and Brian Miller are being honored by the American Royal Horse Shows "Black Tie and Tails" Gala on November 20 as the 2010 Therapeutic Riding Horsepersons of the Year. A committee from the therapeutic riding discipline was asked to select candidates whose contributions represent the tradition of excellence in horsemanship at the American Royal.


Brian is the President and CEO of New Horizon Ranch in Rantoul, KS, and the incoming chair of the Center Advancement Committee. Joy is the program director of New Horizon Ranch. Both Brian and Joy are NARHA certified riding instructors.
