Wild Mustang Nevada Joe Does It Again |
|
Nevada Joe, a wild mustang and the official
horse ambassador for NARHA, served as the
mount for all students to ride and complete
shooting patterns at the Cowboy Mounted
Shooting Association (CMSA) Nationals and WAHL
"Dare to Dream" shootout. CSMA's cowboys and
cowgirls from across the country partner with
riders from Heart's Desire, a NARHA Premier
Accredited Center in Senatobia, MS. The next
CMSA and Wahl "Dare to Dream Shootout" will be
at the World Finals In Amarillo, TX, in
October.
Nevada Joe is on the road every month, serving
as NARHA's ambassador, while Diane and Ernie
Purcelli, NARHA Certified Registered Level
Instructors, educate the public about NARHA
and EAAT.
CMSA recently featured this event in the
June/July 2010 issue of its magazine CMSA
Rundown. Read the article here. Visit
www.nevadojoe.net for Nevada Joe's story
and schedule.

any obstacles, thank you for your patience.
Here are some of the great comments we've

is exceptional and fresh, and there is something for every

Conference Schedule Updates |
|
We noticed a pricing inconsistency in the registration
booklet for the mentor training, which could cause
some confusion. In light of this, we are honoring the
lower registration fee of $175 for members and $225
for non-members for mentor training registration.
Members will be able to complete two requirements
needed to become a NARHA Evaluator at this year's
national conference. You will now be able to attend
both the Mentor Training and the Evaluator Training in
one location, so please note the following schedule
change:
Mentor Training:
Monday, November 1, noon to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, November 2, 7 a.m. to noon
Evaluator Training:
Tuesday, November 2, 12:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, November 3, 7 to 11 a.m.

1st Annual All Veterans Horseshow a Success |
|
Marge
Gunnar of BraveHearts Therapeutic Riding and
Educational Center in Illinois recently
reported about the 1st Annual All Veterans
Horseshow on June 21. "It was an astonishing
success," Marge said. "All four of the VA
Hospitals that participate with us were
represented. Over 150 spectators watched 36
Veterans compete in 12 classes. As one might
expect, the fiercely competitive nature of
these veterans was very evident."
Officers and other dignitaries from various
Veteran support organizations, including the
Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs, were
present. They were all extremely impressed,
and several promised increased levels of
support.
"As the enrollment in our Veterans program
continues to grow, we expect the 2nd Annual
All Veterans Horseshow to be even larger,"
Marge said.

Join NARHA's Click4Cash |

We
are having a lot of fun and generating public interest for the
EAAT industry through NARHA's partnership with Equestrian
Collections. Nearly 100 NARHA centers are enjoying receiving
their proceeds checks in the mail for the purchases their
communities have made through their websites. To keep the fun
rolling, Equestrian Collections will give one lucky center a
$100 gift certificate for joining the NO COST program. They
will announce the recipient in the June 2nd edition of NARHA
News.
Click here and follow the steps to join.
We have created
a shopping area on Equestrian Collections for EAAT-focused
products, but your shoppers can shop the entire site,
maximizing the potential revenue for your center. All you
have to do is get shoppers to click on your Shop &
Change a Life button before they do the regular
shopping they would do anyway. Once you have signed up, you
will receive an email with step-by-step instructions for how
to retrieve the Shop & Change a Life banner to place on your
center's website.
Any questions? Please email
Stephanie and reference CLICK4CASH in the subject line.
