Kudos to NARHA Marketing |
|
Jessie Shanklin, an FFA Advisor in Opheim,
MT, emailed NARHA to let us know that our
marketing department had helped her find
some statistics for an FFA student. Melissa
Dighans was delivering a speech on
equine-assisted therapy, and the stats she
received helped her win her
competition. Melissa will represent the
Montana FFA at the National FFA Convention
in October 2010. "Thank you for the help you
gave us," Jessie writes.

NARHA 2010 Awards Program |
|
Nominations Due by May 14, 2010
Every year riders, instructors, volunteers and
equines invest time and energy to continue
developing the EAAT industry. So many people
and equines spend hours in the sun and cold
weather, in dusty barns and arenas to
participate in this wonderful industry. The
dedication of all these individuals and
equines is outstanding, and NARHA takes this
opportunity to honor those people with our
2010 awards program.
This year NARHA is excited to offer a new
award to recognize those who have served
their country for the benefit of many. The
newly created NARHA Horses for Heroes award
has been established to recognize active
military and veteran riders at NARHA
centers.
Click here to download the 2010 criteria
and nomination forms for the new NARHA Horses
for Heroes award as well as for our Volunteer,
Equine, Instructor, Equestrian, Sis Gould,
Veteran or James Brady Professional

dedicated to this amazing industry.

please read all criteria for each award
carefully and submit a complete application
for the award of your choice. Incomplete
applications will not be reviewed.

Contest to Win 6-Week Supply of Equi-Spot Fly Control |
|
Whether your horse is roaming free in the
pasture or out on a trail ride, one of the most
annoying creatures confronting your horse are
ticks. Ticks are often found on tall grasses and
in wooded areas just waiting for your horse to
pass by so they can move onto him. Not only are
tick bites irritating and painful, but ticks
also may carry diseases as well as causing
anemia due to the loss of blood.
Farnam Horse Products wants to help protect
your horse from biting, blood-sucking ticks as
well as flies, gnats and mosquitoes this
summer with the Equi-Spot: Ticked Off About
Ticks contest. Eighty winners will be drawn
at random -- 10 winners every other week
beginning April 27, 2010 -- to win a six-week
supply of Equi-Spot Spot-on Fly Control for
Horses.
There is still time to enter the contest. Click
here to enter or visit the Farnam Horse
website. Official contest rules are
posted on the Farnam
website under the "promotions" tab.

Free Program Offers Centers Extra Revenue
As you've probably read, Equestrian Collections has
partnered with NARHA to bring every NARHA center the
ability to get CASH based on the buying power of your
centers, membership, friends, family and volunteers.
NARHA recognizes that in these tough times, even the
most deserving and efficient NARHA member centers
need extra revenue sources. To this end, NARHA has
launched the CLICK4CASH program in conjunction with
Equestrian Collections.
The CLICK4CASH program is a FREE, NO COST program
that can bring your center an ongoing CASH income.
Your center will receive 8 percent of every order
that originates from your website. This is a WIN-WIN
- NO COST, and UNLIMITED potential earnings for your
center.
We have created a
shopping area on Equestrian Collections for EAAT-focused
products, but your shoppers can shop the entire
site, maximizing the potential revenue for your
center. All you have to do is get shoppers to click
on your Shop & Change a Life button
before they do the regular shopping they would do
anyway.
Sign up today for the CLICK4CASH program. You cannot
lose with this FREE, NO COST program!
Click here and follow the steps to join.
Once you have signed up, you will receive an email
with step-by-step instructions for how to retrieve
the Shop & Change a Life banner to place on your
center's website.
Any questions? Please
email Nina and reference CLICK4CASH in the
subject line.
Participating centers report
having already received their first checks from
