From Kay Green |
|
Dear NARHA Members,
I hope you are enjoying a
wonderful winter. We hear
that a lot of you are
getting heavy snow in places
where it normally does not
accumulate as much.
It recently came to my
attention that my email
address on the NARHA website
was incorrect. A nice
man who never heard of NARHA
was getting those e-mails.
You can always reach me by
e-mail at
[email protected] .
If you sent me an e-mail at
that incorrect address and
never got an answer it's
because I never got it.
I look forward to hearing
from you!
Kay

Meet Cher! |
|
NARHA
Communications Coordinator/Webmaster
Cher Smith (not "the" Cher, but
certainly "a" Cher) is the new
Communications Coordinator/Webmaster
at NARHA. She has worked in the past
as a web designer, an editor, a
writer, a college professor and at
one time was a donut maker. Cher and
her husband, Steve, have two
children: Becky, who is working on
her Ph.D. in climatology at Colorado
State University, and Joshua, who
plays harmonica with his dad in
nursing homes. Cher was interested
in a job at NARHA because of its
emphasis on changing the lives of
disabled people through equine
activities. Joshua is blind and has
autism, and so Cher knows what it
means to have a great support system
and people working in various fields
to improve the lives of disabled
people and their families. Cher is
tremendously excited to be working
with NARHA and is intrigued to learn
about the equine industry.

A New Position with a Familiar Face |
|
The newly created NARHA Communities
Coordinator position, held by Nicole Pepper,
is designed to support the association's
growth and member satisfaction by developing
and implementing programs that tie members
more closely to the NARHA general community
and special interest groups within the
association. These goals will be obtained
through the development of electronic tools
and opportunities for face-to-face community
networking.
As NARHA researches the benefits of creating
an electronic community, we welcome your
valued input. Please click on the following
link to fill out a survey and let your voice
be heard.

sponsors, exhibitors and corporate
partners.
Barbara has served NARHA for nearly
three years as Communications
Coordinator and Webmaster, adding
