Happy New Year! What an exciting time
for NARHA to look forward.
We were sorry to see Carol Nickell leave
her CEO position at NARHA but wish her
all the best in her new position at The
Community Resource Center. I was asked
by the NARHA Board of Trustees to step
in for the next few months as they
search for your new NARHA CEO.
During this period the NARHA offices
will continue to operate in the same
professional manner to which we have
grown accustomed. The staff is always
here to serve you and go out of their
way to help with all your needs. If you
have any comments or concerns always

will benefit NARHA centers. Please

new hosting format.

Splash Makes a Splash |

equine in the spotlight
Splash is the 2009 Michigan
Veterinary Medical Association's
Therapy Animal of the Year! AND
she has been invited to attend her
banquet at the Lansing Center!
The Michigan State University
College of Veterinary Medicine is
allowing her to arrive day before
the banquet for a warm water bath
and 'spa' treatment to help her put
forth her best face. She will be
practicing at the Lansing Center
before hand and everyone at
C.H.U.M., a NARHA Premiere
Accredited Center in Mason,
Michigan, is excited.

Equine Canada to Host FEI Para-Dressage Courses |
|
Equine Canada is pleased to announce
that three FEI Para-Dressage courses
will be held in conjunction with the
WindReach International
Para-Dressage CPEDI3*, which is
being held May 28-30, 2010 in
Ashburn, Ontario. An FEI
para-dressage judge course, an FEI
para-dressage steward course, and an
FEI para-dressage classifier course
will be offered onsite at the
event.
The courses promise to provide a
wealth of information for current
and aspiring officials who are
interested in augmenting their
skills and knowledge of officiating
within the para-dressage sport. Each
course will combine classroom and
practical learning to enhance the
experience of the attendees. Read
