Ca$H For Your Center |
|
NARHA knows that in these tough times, even
the most deserving and efficient NARHA
member centers need extra revenue sources.
To this end, NARHA is launched a new program
that can bring your center an ongoing CA$H
income to help you now and in better
economic times to come. This is a totally
NO COST
program to you!
Take advantage of the collective buying
power of NARHA participants and their
families, instructors, centers, volunteers,
friends and extended equestrian family. For
the first time, we can now effectively
harness that immense horse power to benefit
each NARHA member center - and that includes
yours!

New Insurance for Instructors
|
|
News from Markel
Markel has rolled out new insurance
for instructors.
Independent Instructor
Insurance
Markel is now able to offer
Commercial General Liability
(GL) insurance to NARHA
Certified Instructors. This
program is designed for
independent instructors
providing EAAT who do not
operate their own facility. The
policy will provide up to $1M GL
protection for the instructor
against Bodily Injury and/or
Property Damage law suits
allegedly arising out
of the independent's instruction
and will follow the
individual working at different
locations throughout the US and
Canada. Owners of premises on
which the EAAT activities are
carried out may be added as
Additional Insured. Proof of
NARHA Certification is
required.
Volunteer Suit
Buy-Back
NARHA Centers insured with
Markel are able to expand
their General Liability
(GL) coverage by purchasing
'Volunteer Suit Buy-Back'.
When this coverage is added
to the NARHA Center's Markel
GL policy, the GL policy
will protect the center, its
staff and its volunteers
against third party law
suits (as it always has);
and it will also protect the
center against law suits
brought by injured
volunteers. The GL policy
has a sub-limit of $250,000
for law suits brought by
volunteers, and will pay
defense costs in addition to
the $250,000 available for
judgements rendered against
the center. The center must
purchase Excess Accident
Medical Plan C - $50,000
limit per volunteer - when
Volunteer Suit Buy-Back is
added to the center's GL
policy.
For rates and
additional information,
please contact Debi DeTurk
Peloso at Markel
888-217-3657 or email
[email protected] about
any of the above coverages.
